What is the 12 square meter living space requirement?

Lithuanian statutory regulations require every applicant holding a residence permit to declare a verified place of residence that provides not less than 12 square meters of living space per person. For example, a family of three (applicant, spouse, and one child) requires a residential property measuring at least 36 square meters of registered living area.

What happens if our child turns 18 while residing in Lithuania on a dependent permit?

When a child reaches 18 years of age, they transition out of the minor dependent status. If they are enrolled as a student in a Lithuanian higher education institution or vocational academy, they smoothly transition to a Student TRP. If they join the family business or secure employment, they transition to a standard Business or Employment TRP.

What international schooling options are available in Vilnius?
